Mr H. (Alloy dropper seatpost, Steel frame)

posted Nov 20, 2015, 7:07 AM by John and Yvonne
I had neglected to clean up and re grease my reverb before putting it back into my steel 456 frame. John got the post out, 100% intact within a couple of hours and it only cost £60. Compared to a new reverb and/or frame, it was money very well spent. I even drove two and a bit hours in each direction (even taking this into account, I am well up on the deal). On the personal side, John is an extremely nice bloke. Indeed, it would probably have taken less time if we hadn't spent so long putting the world to rights. If you get yourself in a pickle with a seat post, there is only one course of action I would recommend. Give John a call.
